High-quality infrared cameras and thermography test equipment "Made in Germany"
Since 1998, the Thermosensorik GmbH develops and markets
- high performance infrared cameras and infrared optics for all infrared areas (SWIR, MWIR and LWIR),
- suitable thermal imaging software and
- various accessories (microscope lenses, filter technology, outdoor laptop, battery pack, interfaces, stimulation techniques, ...).
The applications of infrared camera systems from Thermosensorik include both
- passive thermography (infrared imaging, i.e. without thermal excitation) and
- active thermography (impulse thermography, pulsed thermography, heat flow thermography). In active thermography, the thermal imaging takes place after excitation of the test specimen by means of specially tuned and controlled lighting (halogen lamps, flash lamps, LED array), induction stimulation, ultrasonic stimulation, current excitation, hot-air stimulation etc..
Thermosensorik GmbH offers under the brand name ThermoSpector® and ELITE industrial systems for non-destructive testing (NDT) of
- solar modules and solar cells (shunts, hot spots, selective emitters, series resistance, diffusion barrier, cracks, contacting),
- crucibles for silicon production (thickness measurement),
- turbine blades (examination of coatings and cooling air ducts),
- weld seams and spot welds (test for connectivity, bullet, slug, false friend),
- electronic components (detection of thermal leakage power and short circuits).
